One of my favorite coffee shops in Orlando, Florida, as a kid was Stardust. After moving back to Orlando after more than a decade away, and with a graphic design degree under my belt, I realized upon returning to Stardust for a bite to eat, that they have no real brand associated with them. It got my creative juices flowing and I designed a hand drawn and typography forward logo for them to help match the fact they they have built their iconic establishment by simply word of mouth. I wanted to evoke a vintage feel alongside bold and sci-fi touches that would allow this coffee shop to stand out amongst its competitors.
